Living in Trinity Groves, Dallas

West Dallas
restaurantsartsyoungwaterfront

Trinity Groves sits at the West Dallas foot of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, the white-arched span that's become one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The district itself was built as a restaurant incubator, and that concept still shapes the neighborhood — a concentrated cluster of independent kitchens and patios with views back across the river toward the downtown skyline, especially striking once the sun starts to set behind the towers.

Beyond that restaurant cluster, though, West Dallas is still industrial and low-rise in character, so daily conveniences like groceries mean crossing the bridge into downtown or Oak Cliff, and there's no DART service to make that trip without a car of your own. Rent sits in the middle of the citywide range, reasonable given the skyline views and the short walk to the bridge itself from most apartments in the district.

Trinity Groves suits people who want a concentrated restaurant scene and bridge views as their neighborhood centerpiece, and who don't mind driving for most everything else beyond that particular stretch of West Dallas near the water and the bridge.
